Guide to 'Your own exhibition'

'Your own exhibition' is a virtual museum with three exhibition rooms, a storage and an entrance hall which is the navigation center.
The purpose of 'Your own exhibition' is to illustrate that an exhibition can be put together in various ways. The history of the Kunstkammer from one general museum to many specialised museums shows that the principles for making exhibitions have changed over time. In this game you can make your personalised exhibition with objects from the Kunstkammer, and since this is a virtual exhibition it is of course possible to exhibit one object in more than one context.

To use 'Your own exhibition' you must have Macromedia Flash player installed on the computer. Plug-in can be downloaded here

The small boy can be sent around in the museum either by the mouse (click on the spot you want him to go to) or by the arrow buttons:

The entrance hall
Here you must choose if you want to be a guest visiting other's exhibitions or if you will be the curator, making your own exhibition.
Click one of the following:

Red standard: make your own exhibition
Write your name and the storage door will open
Read more about making your own exhibition

White sign: save your exhibition
Write the name of your exhibition and add a description. Print a catalogue.
The exhibition will be saved at the web site for 30 days.

Leaflet stand: Visit other exhibitions
Choose an exhibition, print the catalogue if you want and then enter the exhibition rooms to see the exhibition.
Se the objects as icons or photos together with information about the object.
Read the object labels with the exhibitors comments.
